Earthquake hits Gippsland

This morning (Wednesday) at 9.15 am a 5.7 magnitude earthquake was felt across Gippsland. Reports were received of simultaneous shocks felt across the Gippsland region at the time, with items being shaken from shelves and pictures falling down. The epicentre was 125 km East of Melbourne and 30 km South of Mt Buller, putting it close to Licola.
