The Annual Archbishop’s Dinner 2020

This is a friendly reminder that the Most Revd Dr Philip Freier, Archbishop of Melbourne invites you to attend the annual Archbishop’s Dinner in support of the Building our Future Appeal.

We all know 2020 has been a little different, so this year’s dinner will be a VIRTUAL EVENT. However, as always, we’ll bring families and friends of Trinity together for a night of food and fun to celebrate our community and the ongoing work of our Theological School.

This year, we have partnered with the Atlantic Group to provide a fabulous two-course dinner that will be delivered to the door of all guests within metropolitan Melbourne. (Food will be delivered earlier in the day, so all you need to do is heat it before the event so we can dine together.) Those who include the dinner in their ticket purchase will go in the draw to win a dinner for six, cooked and hosted by Dean of the Theological School Bob Derrenbacker and his wife Cindy (we’re told Bob can cook!).

Throughout the evening, with the Rt Revd Dr Richard Treloar as our MC, we’ll play some Zoom games and will let guests connect with each other in virtual breakout rooms with a faculty member from the Theolgical School. There’ll be prizes on offer too.

If you haven’t used Zoom before, don’t worry – we can help get you set up with a free account or show you how to login. It’s simple and fun and will let us catch up in the safest way possible, while still having a great evening.

Date: Wednesday 14 October 2020 Time: 7pm onwards Location: Online via Zoom (we will send you a link and instructions to join the online dinner the week of the event) Dress: We haven’t had many occasions to dress up this year, so this is a chance to put on your Sunday best! Cost: $105 per person including 2-course dinner with wine delivered (15km from South Melbourne only) or $25 per household (no dinner) RSVP: Wednesday 7 October 2020 Click here to RSVP
