Third Sunday after Pentecost, Eucharist Service from Bishopscourt

June 11th, 2021

Greetings to all in our Diocesan family, and prayerful thoughts especially for those who are dealing with storm damage, road closures, interruptions to power and phone services, and other impacts of the widespread flooding across our region this week.

We hope that this recorded Eucharist may offer a short period of respite and comfort to those unable to access face to face worship this weekend due to the weather, ongoing COVID constraints, or for any other reason; you are always welcome to gather with us online.

We are grateful to Dean Susanna for preaching her Sunday homily into the camera on Thursday; to Christine Morris for filming at Bishopscourt; and to the Registrar for editing this video file.

As you worship from home you may find the following prayer helpful at the point of distribution of the Sacrament: O Lord Jesus Christ, through your tender mercy grant that as the hem of your garment, touched in faith, healed the woman who could not touch your body, so the soul of this your servant may be healed by like faith in you, whom I cannot now sacramentally receive. In union with the faithful at every altar-table in your Church I desire to be united with you, and pray that you will come spiritually into my heart. Let nothing ever separate me from your love, for you live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen. Grace and peace, +Richard
