7th Sunday in Easter Service

This video resource connects you with a pre-recorded Eucharist from St Paul’s Cathedral in Sale for the 7th Sunday of Easter.
As some churches reopen for gathered worship in small numbers, for many access to online resources such as this continues to be important, and we are pleased to be able to offer them in a time of transition.
Bishop Richard presides at this service, with Dean Susanna Pain assisting and The Revd Canon Philip Muston preaching. Philip is a Canon of St Paul’s and Rector of the Parish of Lakes Entrance/Metung in the Eastern Region. He has previously served as Archdeacon of the Western Region, and twice as Administrator of the Diocese.
Lay Reader and ordination candidate Jackie Belot, Chaplain of Gippsland Grammar, delivers a children’s talk, Cathedral organist Anthony Hahn accompanies the hymns, and Jenny Batten leads the singing.

O Lord Jesus Christ, through your tender mercy grant that as the hem of your garment, touched in faith, healed the woman who could not touch your body, so the soul of this your servant may be healed by like faith in you, whom I cannot now sacramentally receive. In union with the faithful at every altar-table in your Church I desire to be united with you, and pray that you will come spiritually into my heart. Let nothing ever separate me from your love, for you live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
